Rates for half or whole lamb are $8.50 per lb (includes cut & wrap value of $0.95 per lb) + Kill Fee $195.00 & Disposal Fee of $95.00 per animal and NON Refundable Deposit of $200.00 per half is required to reserve. The Reserved Cut is our Locker Meat program here at Lane Creek Reserve. Locker meat refers to purchasing a quarter, half or whole animal. This is a great way to ensure you and your family have local, pastured grass-fed lamb that was raised with the best of practices, from a farm you know and farmers you trust! We raise the animals with the best of husbandry practices and believe that the animal should enjoy its life while providing us with the much needed manure and grazing for the continued fertility of our land and crops. For quarter and half reservations, you will be getting a “split quarter” which is a solid mix of all cuts from the side, not just the front or rear of the animal.
Our butcher partners will call you to discuss the desired cuts, and how you would like your animal processed. We cover the cut and wrap fees, but any speciality seasoning, smoking or curing is an additional charge to you.
Additionally, you can request what’s known as the “5th quarter” if you would like fat, bones, and select organ meats. Please indicate on your reservation if you are interested in this complimentary add on.
